Equity can and, arguably, should begin at home. This guide proposes internal measures of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion as tools for enhancing equity in social sector organizations. It must be noted at the outset that measures are notoriously subject to misuse in organizations. This guide, therefore, also addresses appropriate uses and identifies inappropriate misuses (in the form of challenges), of the proposed measures of equity.
